The local discriminant of a hypergeometric motive (awaiting review)

Given a hypergeometric motive $M$ and a prime $p$, the local discriminant of $M$ at $p$ is the discriminant of the number field defined by the characteristic polynomial of Frobenius of $M$ at $p$.
